Bond,

Here it is . . . .  Roswell (Marcel Right) Photo Study, first attempt.

Marilyn

Summary of Roswell No. 3a.jpg: This photo was cropped from the main Roswell (Marcel Right) photo showing the crossed scissors I-beam in the middle.  The picture was proportionally increased to 8 inches wide.  The photo was embossed to a depth of 5 pixels. This enhanced the 3-D quality of the symbols. The
photo was then increased to 16 in+-ches in size.

A pair of light blue lines were drawn indicating the approximate location of the edges of the beam.  The lower half of the I-beam contained highlights suggestive of playing card type symbols.  These symbols were drawn in essentially from the bottom of the photo to the top. Under even 2x magnification, a perpendicular light line along the edge of the I-beam is visible halfway between each of the symbols. The symmetry was conspicuous and consistent down the entire length of the I-beam.

It was noticed the symbols were very simplistic, having the simple art quality of playing card symbols, totally unlike the symbols contained in the Alien Autopsy video a.k.a. the Ray Santili video. The symbols in the Santilii video are highly sophisticated, involving intricately etched characters with swirls. A good representation of the Santilli symbols is seen in "imgenh1.gif" on Neil's web page. There was nothing on the I-beam in the Roswell photo to suggest characters this sophisticated. That is why the so called fishhook and ankh need more study.

Based on the time spent studying this I-beam, the characters from the middle of the crossed section down to the bottom are probably more accurate than the top two figures, initially speculated to be a fishhook and an ankh.

An important characteristic of the I-beam is that its characters or symbols are equidistant from each other.  Towards the bottom of the I-beam there is even a blank space of approximately two characters wide suggesting spacing between words.

My initial conclusion is the symbols below the alleged fishhook and ankh are likely to be the most accurate. Their spacing is consistent and their design is similar to the symbols found on page 158 of UFO: The Government Files as well as the June 1997 issue, pages 10 - 11, of the MUFON Journal.
