Santilli Releases Alien Autopsy Film Sample For Analysis

Sighting's AudioNet page. The Santilli Release Page

In a major new development, British entertainment entrepreneur, Ray Santilli, has reportedly given over four frames of his now legendary Alien Autopsy film for scientific analysis which could establish the best evidence yet for the film's authenticity. This exclusive news was revealed on Jeff Rense's Sightings radio program on Thursday, August 14, during the show's third hour interview with Dr. Roger K. Leir, a MUFON Assistant Section Director and frequent guest on the program. (The program may be heard via the AudioNet Archives and can be accessed from the top of the Sightings web site homepage.)

Both skeptics and supporters of the film's authenticity have been engaged in heated debate over Mr. Santilli's heretofore refusal to provide samples of the film for official scientific analysis and potential authentication. Doubters and skeptics have maintained that if the film were authentic, and Mr. Santilli knew it to be so, he would have long ago provided the tiny amount of original film.

Santilli knew it to be so, he would have long ago provided the tiny amount of original film necessary to validate its age and pedigree. Many skeptics have pointed out that all Santilli actually needed to provide would be a small hole punch from a single frame of film, and that since he has always refused, the film must be a fraud.

In his broadcast conversation with Dr. Leir, Rense mentioned that Mr. Santilli has thus far not agreed to provide that much discussed hole punch of even a single frame of the Alien Autopsy film for analysis to which Dr. Leir replied that he, Santilli, has indeed now finally done. According to Dr. Leir, he and his colleague Derrel Sims, the "Alien Hunter" UFO investigator from Houston, were recently invited to lunch with Ray Santilli who discussed with them a number of issues about the Alien Autopsy film and its history of public exposure since he first acquired it.

Leir stated that Santilli indicated major unhappiness and disappointment over how the film's release has been received, and, furthermore, expressed great disappointment and frustration with the entire process of exposing it to the general public. Dr. Leir revealed to Rense that Ray Santilli then passed into their possession 4 frames of the original film on the strict and absolute condition that it be thoroughly analyzed by the best appropriate scientific experts and that the results of the analysis of the film and any remainder of the four frames themselves be returned to him without public disclosure of the results; that he, Santilli, would decide if, how, and when those results will be made public.

Leir and Sims agreed. Dr. Leir stated to Rense that the analysis and evaluation will be performed by the best scientific and technical experts in the film industry and the results will be sent directly, without public comment, to Ray Santilli per the agreed upon conditions. Rense further inquired of Dr. Leir why Santilli he has never come forward himself and offered a sample of the original film for analysis. Leir stated Santilli explained that if had he done so this long after the film's release, he would no doubt become the center of a new controversy over his timing and would probably be accused of media manipulation and charges of hoax...allegations he has no desire to experience.

Derrel Sims and Dr. Roger Leir most recently made international news in Roswell, N.M. on July 4, when they presented a piece of debris reputed to be from the original crash of an alien craft near Roswell in 1947. Extensive scientific analysis of the artifact was presented by Dr. Russell Vernon-Clark at the news conference who is of the opinion, due to is isotopic ratios, that it is of ET origin.

Dr. Leir and Derrel Sims are also well known as having been the first to collaborate on the successful surgical removal of alleged alien implants from several individuals with long histories of abduction experience. The items removed are continuing to undergo rigorous scientific analysis with the published results to date pointing toward highly unusual configuration and composition said unlikely to be of earthly manufacture.

My information:

My contacts tell me that Dr. Leir and Derrel Sims really received their footage from UFO and Crop Circle researcher (and past rock and roller) Reg Presely. I’m told that what these gentleman have is the same film stock which Bob Shell and others already have. I’m also told that even if they test the stock it will still come out inconclusive because without Kodak’s involvement (if this is Kodak’s film) and release of their proprietary information, the findings will be "best guess." Even if you were to find some Kodak Supper XX film, and side by side test it in hopes of having some kind of success in dating it, it won’t matter.

Go here for even more info on this tale > RS

What we are dealing with here is not camera original footage. This is print film. A print can be made from any available film stock, from any year, as long as it’s in a useable condition. I’ve had this fact confirmed by Bob Shell, Larry Cate at Kodak and other film experts.

Progeria, an Alien condition?

Isabella Ceole died of heart failure on March 17, 1997 at the age of 28, although she had a body of a centenarian. She suffered from an incurable genetic condition called progeria: but rather than hide away in her home in Bologna, Italy, she went to university, regularly danced till the early hours at discos and nightclubs with her friends and worked with disabled and AIDS patients.

There are two forms of progeria, both extremely rare. One manifests in children aged about four, who seldom survive their teenage years; the other starts in adolescence and follows the same rapid progession. The Mirror, 20 Mar 1997

Very early on in the Alien Autopsy debate, many people thought the creature may be a person afflicted with this conditon. The pro side stated that it wouldn't be possible for a person to live long enough, the creature looks at least to be in its late teens if not older. Well, here we have a person that lived until thier 28th birthday. Doesn't answer all the questions regarding the creatuers body but at least we now know that a person can live to adulthood with the conditon.

This was just sent to me by researcher James Easton. It speaks for it self.

I posted the following on the CompuServe forum and the UFO UpDates list. If you didn’t see the information, it may be of interest :

With the kind assistance of a friend in Italy, I have been able to acquire a copy of the recently released video "Autopsie Di Alieni?" (Volume Duo).

This features the "tent footage" which Ray Santilli and Co. have never previously released. I'm not sure if this release has been sanctioned by them and it's of no relevance.

Part of the footage had also previously been "pirated" on a video called "penetrating the web 2", released in the UK.

The footage on "penetrating the web 2" is brief, lasting for 1 minute and 37 seconds.

The new release runs for 5 minutes and 35 seconds.

And from what I can make out, they're different, both being part of a sequence which runs for 7 minutes and 12 seconds.

The videos originally given by Ray Santilli to Colin Andrews and Philip Mantle were apparently some 7 minutes in length. Both these videos conceivably contain all of that same footage.

Why the pirated extract is missing from the new release, and vice-versa, I don't know.

The new footage has slightly better contrast, but is still murky. The entire film seems to consist of material being cut from what purports to be a body, lying underneath a white sheet on a table. It's filmed in a dark environment, with a lamp suspended over the table.

The two people performing the procedures are at the far side of the table. They are wearing white coats and although not disguised, are not identifiable in these copies.

The person furthest from the camera is cutting the material and hands it to the other person standing next to them. This second person, who seems to be female, examines the material, sometimes holding it up to the lamp, and then turns around to place it in an unseen location at around ground level. As she turns around and bends down, we can see that the white coat is full length.

And that's really all there is to it.

I'll have a more detailed look at it tomorrow.

There are no obvious breaks in filming and the camera is steady, presumably tripod mounted.

I say "what purports to be a body", because we can only see two feet sticking out of the sheet, at the end nearest the camera, the right hand, and the head at the top end of the table. No facial details can be seen.

I've also now seen the "first autopsy" stills released in Italy and these indicate that the body in the other, unreleased, "autopsy" film, has the same bulbous thighs and stomach. There's no full-body image, or a picture of the head and shoulders, so it's difficult to make any further comparisons. It does however appear that the actors/attendants are disguised/protected with the same type of suits.

One further point, the "body" in the tent footage doesn't appear to have the bulbous thighs and stomach. The sheet which covers the body shows no evidence of this. It's questionable if there is in fact a body under the sheet.

Still no reason why the "tent footage" wasn't the inspiration for the "first autopsy", which was a dress rehearsal for the final release. [End]

The “first autopsy” stills are also on that video.

I did receive the “Cameraman Interview” transcript you kindly sent.

Although the article had been edited, most of the uncut transcript should have been there. It was certainly included in the original manuscript.

I have a review copy of “Beyond Roswell”, which is so bad, it’s almost beyond review.

Littered with factual errors and a complete waste of paper.

It’s been largely eclipsed by the media attention on Roswell itself, the bizarre Corso book and the Phoenix sightings. Not to mention the “Roswell crash dummies” report, which I would sooner not mention at all.

Just when you think things couldn’t possibly get any sillier, along come McAndrew and the boys with a truly memorable public relations SNAFU!

Italian UFO Conference, June 7-8 1997

This is what I could gleam from conference guest and attendee Bob Shell and others I have subsequently contacted. Updates, additions and photos to this information will be forthcoming.

The Interview with an Alien video tape has been shown in Europe! I've just been informed that the Alien Interview video, which allegedly shows an ET being telepathically interviewed while being held captive under Area 51, was shown in Italy, Germany and possible many other countries based in Europe.

I called a few of my contacts and sure enough, they saw it and they taped it. And not just the 5 seconds worth Strange Universe showed us either! They got to see the whole 3-1/2 minute segment. I'm not yet sure if the documentary promised by the producers (and segment owner) Rocket Pictures, has been released in Europe. As far as I can tell it has not been released in the USA yet.

Interestingly enough, my contact (Bob Shell) told me that this footage is not being taken seriously at all ( in Europe), while the Alien Autopsy Footage is being embraced by much of the UFO community and some of the medical community, as genuine. Point of fact, many at the conference stated that they would have given the Alien Interview footage a little more investigative time had Sean David Morton not been attached to the footage. See our Alien Autopsy Page for an update on this interesting information.

At last: at item #8 it is stated ".... while the Alien Autopsy Footage is being embraced by much of the UFO community and some of the medical community, as genuine". This is definetely NOT true: only a very small part (totally commercial-oriented) of the European UFO community believes the Santilli footage true. Most but all of the most erspected European UFO researchers does not embrace it at all !

Alien Autopsy hieroglyphics and what they may mean.

Moscow based linguistics professor / retired, Boris Chourinov, has come out against the suggested translations of the Alien Autopsy: Debris Hieroglyphs. Chourinov came to the Italian UFO Conference to show Russian radar evidence of some strange lights following commercial aircraft and then speeding off. Away from the podium, Chourinov stated strongly that the translations that Hopi Indian and Human Legacy researcher, Robert Morning Sky and UFO researcher Michael Hesemann have come up with are way off base and have no foundation in the reality of linguistics. I'll have an up date on this very shortly.

Morning Sky just sent me his newest book, an amazing research tomb that you may want to read, though it will take you some time...at 500 pages! And this is the first of three books to come. Robert told me that "people are way off the mark if they think that single symbols can not have complete words and sounds attached to them.

The Italian UFO Conference
by Bob "I was there" Shell

Some of you have phoned and asked for my impressions of the conference, so I'm putting together this e-mail wrapup.

This was the fifth year that the government of the Republic of San Marino has hosted an International UFO Conference. Speakers from more than twelve countries attended this year. I was honored to be invited to speak at the conference. This was a special conference since this year is the 50th anniversary of Kenneth Arnold's famous sighting, the 50th anniversary of the coining of the phrase "flying saucer" by the press, the 50th anniversary of the Roswell event, and also the 50th anniversary of the US Air Force. Lots of 50ths to celebrate!

The Teatro Turismo in which the conference was held has a theater which seats over 800, and for many of the talks (including mine!!) and some of the others it was completely full with standing room only. My talk followed talks by Susan Mantle and Philip Mantle. Susan spoke on the attempts at bogus alien autopsy films by perpetrators in Germany and Argentina, and showed segments of both.

The German one always brings down the house, since it is so ludicrous, and the audience here was no exception. Philip then presented an update on purported pieces of the Roswell wreckage, including the Roswell museum piece (shown to be trash from a jeweler's shop), the piece given to Derrell Simms (anomalous and unknown) and the pieces mailed to Art Bell, which are to my mind the most likely to be the real thing with their unusual layered structure of magnesium with micron thick layers of bismuth.

I then followed Philip with my two-part presentation on the photographic evidence and showed with documents from Kodak and others that the film is quite possibly really from 1947 and that the arguments against it from "photographic experts" are just so much hogwash. I had planned to show the complete cameraman interview but the video was delayed by the good old US Post Office, so I could only show the beginning from Japanese TV. Philip then joined me, and we did the rest of the interview with Philip acting as questioner and me portraying Jack and answering the questions. All of this was slow going, though, due to the need for frequent pauses for the Italian translators.

My dear friend Mike Hesemann presented a very interesting talk the highlight of which is actual NASA video of an American astronaut looking out the window of the space shuttle and saying "Uh, we have an unidentified flying object...." and then zooming in on it with the onboard video camera. Strangely, the audio transmission was suddenly "lost"!!!! Anyone who can watch that video and say there is nothing going on and no coverup is absolutely hopeless!!!

Other interesting talks included Stan Friedman's presentation on the "Cosmic Watergate" of the UFO coverup, the MJ-12 papers, and other documents. Stan is a consumate speaker and turns out to be a damned nice fellow as well. We got to know each other at breakfasts, lunches and dinners during the conference, and in a couple gab sessions by ourselves. Budd Hopkins was also in good form, but faced with an impossible task in trying to condense the "Linda case" into a short talk when he could barely fit it into a 400 page book! He actually did a pretty good job.

Boris Chourinov, who came from Moscow with Alexander Balandine, showed us video tapes of aircraft control radar at Moscow airport with clear traces of unknowns following commercial airliners and then exhibiting performance characteristics which clearly are not within the capabilities of any aircraft known. He also had a video taken at a wedding party in which the guests all look up and the camera pans up to show a hovering UFO very clearly.

My friend A.J. Gevaerd from Brazil presented an informative overview and update of the Varghinia case, sort of a modern Roswell except with scores of civilian and military witnesses. John Mack has also gone to Brazil, according to A.J. and is convinced the three girls, the main witnesses, are telling the truth.

Unfortunately, I didn't get a lot out of some of the other talks because the English translation was iffy at best and I only know enough Italian to get myself in trouble. As an example of the translation, when Stan was telling his story of how he won $ 1,000 from Phil Klass the translator turned this into $ 150,000 to the Italian audience. I'm sure Stan wishes that was really the case!!

I was somewhat disappointed that Johannes von Buttlar, although announced as a speaker, was unable to come. I had hoped to talk with Baron von Buttlar since he has expressed an interest in publishing my book in German. I'll catch up with him at some other time, I hope.

To me the real highlight of the conference was not during the speaches, but the relaxed times at meals and playing tourist with Philip and Sue Mantle, Budd and Carol Hopkins, Alexander Balandine, Boris Chourinov, Maurizio Baiata, Roberto Pinotti, and others. I was particularly delighted to get to know Alexander, since he is a Russian cosmonaut and has spent 179 days in space on the Mir space station (two full days outside in an EVA suit!).

I only wish that he had known more English or that I had known even a little Russian, since working through a translator, even one as willing and accommodating as Boris, is never ideal. And I kept bumping into Alexander in the hotel and on the street when no translator was around. You can only say so much with hand gestures and body language!!! Alexander did make a stirring presentation to the conference about the need for us all to work together worldwide to deal with the UFO problem as what it really is, a worldwide political problem. The translator handling Russian to English for this one did a good job!

Mike Hesemann and Philip Mantle's book _Beyond Roswell_ had just come out prior to the conference, but copies shipped to Philip to bring to the conference did not reach him so only a few copies were on hand. Even Stan Friedman called it the best book yet on the subject and endorsed it to the crowd. (Editor - I called Stan on this and he doesn't remember it as an endorsment. Said Stan, "I held up the book and said here's another Roswell book, or something like that." I was pleased with this reception since I was one of the researchers on the project and am quoted extensively in the book, as well as contributing sections. I expect the book to become a best seller rapidly, even amid the glut of new Roswell books pouring off the potboiler presses right now.

A number of people have asked me exactly what and where San Marino is. San Marino is the smallest country in Europe and smallest member of the UN. It is about 40 square miles in area with a population of about 50,000. It sits on the top of Mt. Titano overlooking Rimini and the Adriatic coast of Italy. The government is democratic, with an assembly governing. Members of the assembly can serve only six months. No career politicians here!

The system works, since they have no unemployment and no crime. The republic was founded in the year 301 by Saint Marino on the premise that no man can own another, that a man belongs only to himself and his God. Wonderful sentiment! The country is beautiful, basically a medieval walled city, and the people friendly. It is a trip back in time to visit there, particularly because the year is only 1696 on their calendar!!! Prices are cheap because there is no VAT or sales tax.

So, a very good and well conducted scientific conference in a wonderful little country. Everyone should plan to come next year.
