UFO Report Webmaster

I talked with Kal Korff (a segment producer) and Bob Kiviat about this production and my possible involvement with it. I’ve never talked to Kiviat in the past, but I was made aware of his animated nature by a few other researchers that had the opportunity to work with him in one fashion or another.
In fairness to Kiviat, he did tell me that he thought it was right time to start putting some of these old UFO stories to bed, which I whole-heatedly agreed with. To many UFO fables are thought of as real happenings, with little to no research. I offered our web site, any videotapes, printed matter and contacts to Kiviat to support the cause.
Kiviat informed me that he wanted me to do an on-camera account on the history of the Alien Autopsy Footage, how the story broke, the people involved, etc. I told him that I wasn’t interested in doing that, the story had already been told, and most likely the majority of the people tuning into this program already have a working knowledge regarding the subjects.
After informing him of my feelings our phone conversation quickly ended and I never heard from Bob Kiviat again. Nonetheless, I sent Kiviat a few videotapes in the hopes that they would help him present a balanced show.
During our phone call I informed Kiviat that I was none to please with the way he handled the original Alien Autopsy show and I pointed out one glaring omission. Early on, I located Kodak employee Larry Cate (please read the story) and found out some very important information which was not included in Kiviat’s production. When I ask Kiviat why he chose not to include this information (Side bar: Upon hearing my assertion that "I" found out this information, Kiviat informed me that they already knew about it), Kiviat informed me that you can only put so much in a show (time constraints, etc.)
I understand this completely, however, this one piece of information was tantamount to helping along the investigation at this early stage. A true investigative journalist would know this.
In the end, Kiviat means well, but he means to make a buck. When you read some of the statements he makes in his CNI interview, please keep this in mind.
Above all else, Bob
Kiviat is not an investigative journalist first, he’s a TV producer, first
and foremost.
