I would appreciate it if you would post this wherever the messages you quoted came from.  I'm out of the loop right now.

I have not spoken with Gary Shoefield directly.  Philip Mantle has, and I trust Philip completely.

Here is what Gary has said, as I understand it.  Gary has said that the "Tent Footage" is a hoax.  Philip has been in contact with one of the people who faked it, and has the names of the others.

Gary has not said that the autopsy footage is fake.

At the moment my position, and this is my personal position only, is that it it highly unlikely that part of the film is real if part of it is admitted to be a hoax.  That just does not seem likely.

I was willing to meet Ray in NYC.  He never told me where he was staying so I had no way to contact him.  I had e-mailed him with the hotel I was in and the phone number, so he could have called me even if he didn't have time to meet.  And I want to make it VERY clear that he was the one who suggested the meeting in the first place in a short e-mail in which he asked if I would be in NYC during a particular time period, and that we should meet for a drink if I was there.  As it happened I was going to be in NYC during that time period for a business meeting, so I informed Ray of this.  Apparently his schedule was as hectic as usual, and he didn't have time.  So it goes.  Yes, I was a bit miffed, since I would have thought Ray would consider this important enough to want to clarify, if only by phone.
