Alien Autopsy Re-creation
History: The X-Files did
a show in 1996 in which they lampoon the Alien Autopsy. Moulder says something
to the affect of, "They showed too much, it's obviously fake." On May, 18th, 1997,
the X-Files did one better, they staged their own Alien Autopsy in the seasons
cliff hanger.
As you can see, many things
are different, and better about this segment than the original. They remove the
same black eye covers (nice touch!), they cut out the rib cage, weigh the internals,
and they ice the ET down. Of course the original "could" have done these little
things...we didn't see the whole procedure.
