Rus has been playing drums for many years and is the elder statesmen of the band.  He has played extensively in the San Francisco and San Jose areas and in many house and blues bands most recently with Blue Monday.

Rus also plays in the local jazz scene and has recorded several tracks with the Penguin Jazz Quartet.  Rus’ musical influences add aunique spin to the to rock-n-roll of High-N-Tight.  He believes that the best thing about this band is it is open to different takes on the music.

Rus plays D’Amico drums and Zildjian cymbals.
